Cecilia is so good at putting thoughts and feelings on paper. It is true that this is a book that you do not want to put down. You cheer at her triumphs an sometimes say, "Oh No!", when she makes a stupid mistake that could put her in jeopardy.Strangely a delightful Brazilian woman wrote to me on a pen-pal site more than one year ago. I have always been interested an other countries and cultures and enjoy to learning more about the world. This woman is the one that recommended Cecilia's book to me in one of her letters. I think the my friend knows, or met Cecilia, so it is a small world.
Cecilia brings out the drive and determination of this Brazilian woman, and it is refreshing that she is a take charge person. Her book and her adventures have prompted me to delve much deeper into learning more about Brazil, Brazilian culture and this sweet woman from Brazil that wrote to me more than one year ago. By the way, we plan to meet this year.
Perhaps the book is geared more to women, but as a gentleman I have learned from the behaviors of the men described by Cecilia. I can see the process that Cecilia used to quickly reject the "losers" and fully understand why. Guys can certainly learn what to do and not to do from reading this book.
This is a great book and a true story. You will fall in love with Cecilia and root for her throughout the chapters to find her true love. This book and Cecilia are treasures, you will enjoy this book.
I truly hope that she writes another book.

You'll Laugh out loud. It is the "unexpected expected" in very interesting and humorous terms. A few cliches that leap out at you unexpectedly and work.
This book is a true story of life changing experiences. Celilia truly speaks from the heart and she has written the book so the reader can relate to her experiences with each and every encounter. Very very interesting and humerous. "KEEPS YOU INTRIGUED THROUGHOUT"
I found this book to be more entertaining than I anticipated due I think to the talent of the author to express her feelings in an easily understood and enjoyable way. It was also educational for a male to see romance from a female point of view. I would enjoy reading more from her.
Cecilia definitely kept my attention. I didn't want to put the book down until finding out if she found love. She wrote in a humorous and down to earth style detailing each of the encounters. And through it all she never sounded bitter. She also has a way of describing places that makes you feel like you're right there with her. I'm looking forward to her next book.
I love the fact that Cecilia speaks from the heart, openly and honestly. Her story gives hope to so many people. I too met my husband via Match.com so Cecilia and I have a few things in common. I believe this book shows that you should never give up and love can happen at all ages. Sometimes we have to step through a little horse dung to get to the rose garden! ;o)
